It cleverly combines traditional features (Alder body, Maple bolt-on neck, Rosewood fingerboard, 25.5" scale) with contemporary ones (22 frets, modern 9.5" radius, Modern C neck profile, locking tuning machines).

With its duo of Fender Hybrid II Custom Voiced humbucking pickups, it is reminiscent of the Telecaster Deluxe of the 1970s, at the time designed to compete with Gibson© guitars.
Combined with typical Fender luthiery, they provide thick, dynamic tones, with punchy lows, rich mids and generous highs.
