The FENDER Player II Jazz Bass (0140480565) continues the tradition of the very popular Fender Standard electric guitars and basses produced in Mexico.
Combining traditional characteristics with more contemporary features, the Jazz Bass Player II respects the deep identity of the original Jazz Bass, enhanced by remarkable playing comfort.
Compared with a vintage model, its sonic range is extended thanks to its 20-fret fingerboard (medium-jumbo) and Alnico V pickups producing crystal-clear highs, musical mids and deep, precise basses.

Solid-body electric bass, alder body, bolt-on maple neck, maple or rosewood slab fingerboard (20 frets, Modern C profile, 9.5" radius).

Achetée en 2024 au magasin de Toulouse, j'adore cette basse. Au déballage en magasin, juste un réglage minime du truss rod et c'est tout. Le son est bien celui que j'adore sur les Jazz Bass Fender.

Le manche est très confortable, je préfère d'ailleurs cette finition satinée aux finitions gloss présentes sur les modèles inspirés des années 50, 60 et 70 sur lesquels j'ai la sensation que ma main colle à l'arrière du manche : sur la Player II, elle glisse beaucoup mieux et c'est beaucoup plus agréable !

Depuis que je l'ai, je la joue au moins 5 fois par semaine pendant 45 min minimum et je suis vraiment très satisfait. Elle tient remarquablement bien l'accordage, si bien que les seules fois où j'ai dû réajuster l'accordage étaient les périodes de changement important de température.

Cette série Player II est vraiment excellente.

J'ai acheté le modèle en coloris Birsh green et elle est magnifique ! Le confort de jeu est très bien, j'adore le son des 2 micros; qui me semble un peu plus chaud que le son de la player première série.
Je suis très satisfait de mon achat.
