With its humbucking pickup and Floyd Rose double-block vibrato, the FENDER Player II Modified Stratocaster HSS Floyd Rose (0147440323) has been designed especially for Hard-Rock and Metal fans. Nevertheless, it continues the tradition of the popular Fender Standard electric guitars and basses made in Mexico.
Combining traditional and more contemporary features, the Player II Modified Stratocaster respects the profound identity of the original Strat, enhanced by greater sonic flexibility and remarkable playing comfort.
Compared with a vintage Stratocaster, the sound range is extended by the 22-fret (medium-jumbo) fingerboard and Player II Noiseless pickups, which have the characteristic temperament of old-school Fender single-coil pickups, but without the parasitic noise of radiation.
The Player II Modified Humbucker bridge pickup produces generous saturation that will appeal to fans of Gary Moore-style modern blues, hard rock and even metal sounds. One of the push/pull tone knobs can be used to split the coils.
