The FENDER Player II Modified Stratocaster HSS (0147430360) continues the tradition of the popular Fender Standard electric guitars and basses made in Mexico.
Combining traditional and more contemporary features, the Player II Modified Stratocaster respects the deep identity of the original Strat, augmented by greater tonal flexibility and remarkable playing comfort.
Compared with a vintage Stratocaster, its sound range is extended by a 22-fret fingerboard (medium-jumbo) and Player II Noiseless pickups, which have the characteristic temperament of old-school Fender single-coil pickups, but without the parasitic noise of radiation.
The Player II Modified Humbucker bridge pickup produces generous saturation that will appeal to fans of Gary Moore-style modern blues, hard rock and even metal sounds. One of the push/pull tone knobs can be used to split the coils.
