The FENDER Player II Mustang Bass PJ (0140492500) continues the tradition of the very popular Fender Standard electric guitars and basses produced in Mexico.
Combining traditional features with more contemporary ones, the Mustang Bass PJ Player II is a solid-body electric bass (short scale) respecting the deep identity of the original Mustang Bass, enhanced by remarkable playing comfort.
Its Alnico V pickups produce crystal-clear highs, musical mids and deep, precise bass.
Since its release in 1964, the Mustang Bass has found its place in the Fender catalog, winning over musicians from The Rolling Stones to My Chemical Romance. Compact with a short scale (30"), it's ideal for beginners and smaller players, and will appeal in particular to pop/rock/blues/grunge bassists. Solid-body electric bass, alder body, bolt-on maple neck, maple or rosewood fingerboard (19 frets, Modern C profile, 9.5" radius).
