Combining traditional features with more modern specifications, the Player Stratocaster II stays true to the core identity of the original Strat, while offering remarkable playing comfort.
Compared to a vintage-style model, its tonal range is expanded thanks to its 22-fret (medium-jumbo) fingerboard, its Alnico V single-coil pickups, which produce crystalline highs, musical mids, and deep, precise lows, and its Alnico II bridge pickup for hard rock and even heavy metal distortion.

Solid body electric guitar, body made of alder, “chambered” ash, or “chambered” mahogany depending on the finish, bolt-on maple neck, maple or rosewood fingerboard (22 frets, Modern C profile, 9.5" radius).

A “chambered” body features tonal chambers. These are small cavities whose placement has been carefully designed for optimal efficiency. This technique reduces the instrument’s weight without altering its tonal identity, while adding a subtle acoustic dimension and a mellow character to the tone.
