Fender Smolder Acoutic Overdrive

Adding overdrive to an acoustic guitar is no easy task - not only can this effect sound anything but musical, it can also generate destructive feedback. The Smolder Acoustic Overdrive is an all-analog pedal, designed specifically for acoustic instruments, that solves these problems thanks to Fender know-how. To soften the brilliant attack of a piezo pickup, we've included a Pickup Compensation control that smoothes out the highs. The Drive knob controls the amount of distortion, while the 3-band EQ and filter control let you sculpt your sound to your liking. We've even integrated a speaker cabinet simulation so you can spice up your sound when you plug your guitar into an acoustic amp or PA system. The Smolder Acoustic Overdrive is a totally original creation by Fender's team of experts. The chassis is made of lightweight, durable anodized aluminum. The switchable LED-backlit potentiometers let you see your settings at a glance on a dark stage.
