His instrument of choice has always been a Stratocaster. The FENDER Steve Lacy People Pleaser Stratocaster (0142912785) is a traditional/vintage solid body electric guitar with alder body, bolt-on neck in maple, maple fingerboard (21 frets, Deep C profile, 9.5" radius), vibrato and vintage-style tuning machines. It features noise-free Player Plus Noiseless pickups, and a built-in fuzz circuit whose level you can adjust via a dedicated potentiometer.
