Replacing the previously popular American Special, the solidbody electric guitar FENDER American Performer Telecaster Hum (0115122300) is a vintage/modern model between Mexican and Standard USA production. It combines traditional features (alder body, bolt-on neck in maple, maple or rosewood fingerboard, 25.5" scale) with more contemporary ones (22 frets, 9.5" radius).
New Fender Yosemite (bridge) and Double Tap (neck) pickups have been developed for the occasion, particularly rich and expressive with a consistent output level. The neck pickup is splittable single/double-coil via push/pull tone, and the circuit embeds the Greasebucket tone system. Delivered in a Fender gig bag.
