Scarlett 4i4 is the ideal interface for musicians and producers who are starting to expand their configurations and need this little extra connectivity. A great way to enhance creativity at the next level with four inputs and four outputs for simultaneous recording of microphones, instruments, synths and drum machines - with optimal audio quality. Equipped with high-performance 24-bit/192 kHz AD-DA converters, the same professional sound quality is guaranteed throughout the third generation Scarlett range.

The 4i4 is equipped with two improved third-generation Scarlett microphone preamps: with the optional Air setting to reproduce the Air effect of Focusrite's famous ISA preamplifier, giving your recordings a brighter and more open sound.

Guitars and basses via the two high-headroom instrument inputs with no artifacts or unwanted distortion. The four flexible line inputs: two front with gain control and two fixed line inputs at the rear allowing you to record up to four mono sources or two stereo line level sources such as synthesizers or drum machines with guaranteed clarity.

A pair of virtual "looping" inputs allows you to capture a stereo source from any combination of hardware inputs and software playback channels, making podcasting, live broadcasting and sampling easier.

The Scarlett 4i4 connects directly to a Mac or PC via a USB cable, without any external power supply. It is delivered with all the necessary software tools to get started. This includes two DAWs: Ableton Live Lite and Pro Tools First Focusrite Creative Pack, Softube's Time and Tone bundle, Focusrite's Red plug-in suite and a choice of one of XLN Audio's four Addictive Keys keyboard emulations.
