The FULLTONE Custom Shop CS-OCD-GE Metallic Teal pedal is the ultimate version of the already fantastic standard production OCD, optimized by two newly-discovered germanium diodes. The result: superb definition, an exacerbated "tube amp" feel, slightly greater amplitude, more sustain, and a refocused note-to-note sound.
The OCD is a must-have overdrive, adored by guitarists for its outstanding responsiveness and musicality: thanks to the 2N5457 JFET Class A transistor that boosts impedance to 1 mega ohm (330K on the previous version), the OCD is ten times more responsive, whatever your guitar style.
A selector on the case lets you choose between two types of bypass circuit (Enhanced Bypass TM or True-Bypass), to optimize respect for your original signal according to the layout of your pedalboard.
You'll also notice a total absence of popping when you activate/deactivate the pedal.
