The FULLTONE USA Ultimate Octave features exactly the same circuitry as the original model! No re-voicing or upgrading. Only the chassis has been compacted, and is half as wide as its predecessor.

Thanks to the BC108 transistor and an active tone circuit, the Fuzz is as huge, rich and overflowing with harmonics as ever. High frequencies and mids are razor-sharp, bass dense but distinct. If you're looking for a Jimi Hendrix or Jack White sound, you can engage the upper octave circuit at any time via the dedicated switch. You'll give your leads a unique, immediately perceptible sound. The effect is all the more pronounced when you use a neck pickup beyond the twelfth fret. The Fat/Bright selector modifies the entire contour, acting on the fuzz and octave circuits. You can opt for a thick sound with present midrange, or a brighter, more open sound with well-defined highs and attenuated midrange.
