Housed in a carbon sleeve, the bi-directional Furch CNR truss-rod allows precise adjustment of the neck curvature while stabilizing it. Then comes the drying process, which the firm has spent many years perfecting. The classification of woods according to various criteria (color, grain, consistency, rigidity etc.) also leaves nothing to chance. As we know, the soundboard and its dams play a fundamental role in the sound of the instrument and its durability. Here again, Furch draws on its thirty years of expertise to find the optimum balance between rigidity, volume, sustain and dynamics.
