Game changer Plasma Distortion

The GAMECHANGER AUDIO Plasma Pedal offers a totally innovative approach to overdrive and distortion, with previously unheard-of clipping technology. Instead of using diodes, transistors or tubes to generate saturation, the Plasma Pedal transforms the signal into a series of high-voltage continuous discharges inside a xenon lamp (the electrical discharges produced by your instrument are instantly converted back into analog audio signal to produce reactive saturation with a unique character). By setting the Blend control to maximum, you get only the signal of the effect produced by the gas discharge tube. This means that as soon as you stop playing, the electrical discharge inside the tube is interrupted and the pedal no longer produces any signal. This allows you to achieve pronounced contrasts between each note, eliminating any noise created by your instrument's pickups or attack on the strings. The Plasma Pedal doesn't use your instrument's original signal as input, but instead creates a new signal from fluctuations in the electromagnetic field surrounding the gas discharge tube. The Plasma Pedal is initially designed for guitarists, but can be used with all kinds of electronic processors, instrument samples and live synths.
