The GIBSON Custom Shop Artist Collection Elvis Dove (AMSSEDEB) is the reinterpretation of the custom 1969 Dove given by his father to the King of Rock and Roll. Presley regularly wore this Dreadnought Square Shoulder in concert from 1971 to 1975, notably at the legendary Aloha From Hawaii Concert in 1973. He offered it to the public at a performance in Asheville, North Carolina, in 1975.
Its all-solid-wood premium construction (Sitka spruce top, maple back and sides, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard) and LR Baggs VTC system (volume and tone wheels in the soundhole) enable electro-acoustic recordings that respect the instrument's deep temperament.
