Folk guitar
Super Jumbo electro-acoustic folk guitar, made in the U.S.A. Since its inauguration in 1937, the Gibson SJ-200 has set a standard in the world of acoustic guitars, captivating major Country, Folk and Rock artists with its depth of sound, dynamics and projection superior to any other model.
Its seductive aesthetics have also contributed to its popularity.
The GIBSON Acoustic Modern Collection SJ-200 Standard (MCJB20TB) features traditional all-solid-wood construction, remarkably machined from rigorously selected woods: Sitka Spruce top, AAA-grade Flame Maple back & sides, Indian Rosewood fingerboard.
It is enhanced by a LR Baggs™ Anthem preamp that will enable you to make high-quality recordings on stage or in the studio. It combines a traditional under-saddle pickup (for precision, accurate reproduction of playing nuances) and an internal pickup (for amplitude and and roundness). You can mix the two sources to obtain the ideal sound for your needs. A phase inverter will help you control any feedback, and it looks absolutely sumptuous in its Classic White finish.Preserving my GibsonNitrocellulose is an old-fashioned varnish that is highly acclaimed for certain acoustic qualities, but which requires particular care. So be careful not to place your guitar on any stand that could alter the varnish; we recommend the Hercules brand, whose foams have been designed to avoid this type of inconvenience.
