Gibson ES-335 Figured Custom Color - blood moon burst

Like the SG Standard or the Les Paul Custom, the ES-335 semi-hollowbody electric guitar is one of Gibson's timeless models. The GIBSON Original Custom Color Collection ES-335 Figured (ES35F00MNNH1) is no exception to the rule, perpetuating the tradition in a version that combines tradition and contemporaneity.
It retains the essential features of the original 335, with a 3-ply Maple/Poplar/Flame Maple body with center block, a glued mahogany neck (Rounded C profile), a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard, double-wound pickups and a Tune-O-Matic bridge. The pickups are Gibson T-Type humbuckers, a replica of the Gibson T-Top Humbucker used on the company's guitars from 1968 to 1980. This pickup was notably installed by Jimmy Page on his legendary 1959 Gibson Les Paul Sunburst "No. 1", an instrument that helped lay the foundations of the 1970s Hard-Rock sound. Featuring Alnico 5 magnets, with a moderate DC resistance of 7.45k ohm, the T-Type produces full, dense, defined tones and responds very well to modulations of the instrument's volume potentiometer.MaintenanceThe nitrocellulose varnish, as on vintage Gibson instruments, plays a major role in the instrument's 'breathing' thanks to its porous nature (vibrations are not muffled by the varnish).
