Gibson Original J-160E - vintage sunburst

Popularized by The Beatles, who used it extensively on stage and in the studio, the 1954 J-160E was Gibson's second attempt to develop an amplifiable acoustic guitar (the first was a Small Body CF-100E), featuring a P-90 single-coil pickup. The GIBSON Original J-160E (OCRS16VS) is an updated version of this benchmark electro-acoustic steel-string acoustic guitar. This Dreadnought Round Shoulders features a massive Sitka Spruce top, Mahogany neck and body, and Rosewood fingerboard, for a warm, full and dynamic sound. The soundhole pickup is a Gibson P-90 DC, which you can control with volume and tone. It produces sounds identical to the traditional P-90, but its design eliminates background noise.
