The GIBSON Artist Collection Margo Price J-45 (AMRSMPHCS) is a beautiful iteration of the original 1942 Gibson J-45 "Workhorse Guitar", honoring a most talented artist whose unique style transcends the registers of traditional Country, Americana and Pop Rock. Inspired by the mid-1960s vintage J-45 that Margo Price considers her favorite, her signature model features a significantly thinner body than the standard version, an Adirondack Spruce top, a Rounded neck profile, an L.R. Baggs Element VTC preamp, and a 1950s-style double pickguard adorned with red-tailed hawks. A bird of prey associated with a symbol of strength and perseverance.
Equipped with a LR Baggs VTC pre-amp (volume and tone knobs in the soundhole) for optimal recording on stage or in the studio.
