The IBANEZ Advanced Acoustic AAD70CE TBN steel-string acoustic guitar is an electro-acoustic "Grand Dreadnought" cutaway with solid Sitka Spruce top, Macassar Ebony back and sides, Okoume neck, Purpleheart fingerboard and Ibanez AEQ-TP2 preamp w/Onboard tuner. The fingerboard is made of Amaranth or Purpleheart. This is a high-quality wood from South American forests. Its high density provides extended sustain, excellent dynamics and clarity. A compromise between Rosewood and Ebony, the "Grand Dreadnought" proprietary gauge is 5% wider than a traditional Dreadnought. Ibanez-developed X-M bracing further enhances vibration transmission, and magnifies frequencies with clean, clear bass, warm mids and crystal-clear highs.

The AAD is as enjoyable to play as it is functional, with its AEQ-TP2 system facilitating recording on stage and in the studio, while reflecting the deep identity of the instrument and limiting feedback problems.
