The IBANEZ Advanced Acoustic AAM54CE OPN is an Auditorium-style steel-string acoustic guitar with cutaway. It features a solid Sapele top, laminated Sapele back and sides, Okoume neck, Purpleheart fingerboard and Ibanez Custom Electronics preamp w/Onboard tuner. The proprietary "Advanced Auditorium" body is a reworked version of the traditional Auditorium, with significantly wider hips and a re-centered neck. The result is richer low-midrange frequencies and better postural balance, while the Ibanez-developed X-M bracing further enhances vibration transmission, magnifying frequencies with clean, clear bass, warm mids and crystal-clear highs. The A.I.R. port is an exclusive Ibanez system. The structure of the body allows sound waves to be redirected at the output to a specific point. The fingerboard is made of Amaranth or Purpleheart. This is a relatively rare, high-quality species from South American forests. Its high density provides extended sustain, excellent dynamics and clarity.
