Ibanez Iceman IC420 CGM - coral green metallic

The IBANEZ Iceman IC420 ABM solid body electric guitar is a reinterpretation of the legendary Ibanez model beloved by Paul Stanley.
While its design is unique, its construction is reminiscent of a Gibson® Explorer® with a sound to match—both rich and aggressive.

Okoume body, set Okoume neck with a 22-fret Jatoba fingerboard, a pair of Ibanez Super 80 humbucking pickups (passive, ceramic magnets), and an Ibanez Gibraltar Performer fixed bridge.

Used for decades in the maritime and aerospace industries, Okoume (native to West Africa) is a wood of choice for electric guitars (John Suhr has used it for many years).
This lightweight, low-density wood can be thought of as a type of mahogany with more pronounced high frequencies and an extended dynamic range, enhancing the instrument’s clarity.

The fingerboard is made of Jatoba (or Brazilian cherry), a wood whose tonal characteristics are similar to those of Pau Ferro—both warm and punchy.
