Folk guitar
TheIbanez Steve Vai Euphoria EP5-BP is a sexy folk-electro guitar with an original design, developed in collaboration between Ibanez and its favorite artist. Semi-pro grade, it's very easy to access (neck and body) and delivers warm, rich, glossy tones.
Its soundboard is made of Englemann spruce, a higher-grade variety than the more common Sitka spruce. It has a richer, more complex character than the latter, and responds better when the guitar is played softly.
Fishman Sonicore Pickup and Ibanez AEQ210TF: the Ibanez AEQ210TF preamp has been designed specifically for the Euphoria body format. In addition to 2-band equalization, it features a phase switch to reduce feedback problems, and a tuner that's almost systematic on today's electro-acoustics.
