Metal electric guitar

Jackson was founded in 1980 in Southern California. It was the first brand to focus on the needs of hard rock and metal virtuosos, offering them instruments with features geared to extreme playing speed. Jackson has continued to revolutionize high-performance guitars for 40 years, while dominating the metal scene with its shred-oriented models. The American series opens a new chapter in Jackson's history, as the first to offer high-end products made in Corona, with the American Soloist SL2MG HT at the forefront, featuring all the essential elements for which this series is renowned. The American SL2 features an alder body and a through-neck made of three pieces of maple, a configuration that enhances sustain production. The neck also features a pair of graphite reinforcements for unrivalled stability. As a result, it is perfectly resistant to twisting and warping caused by variations in temperature and humidity. With its 24 stainless steel jumbo frets, pearly inlays in the shape of inverted shark fins, rounded edges and compensated radius of 12"-16" (305 - 406.4 mm), the ebony fretboard inlay is ideal for ultra-technical, high-speed playing. It's more rounded near the nut for easy rhythmic playing, and flattens out towards the body so you can bend and play faster and faster without curling the strings. Luminlay's phosphorescent lateral fretboard markers are perfect guides, even on the darkest stages, and thanks to the knob on the neck heel, you'll be able to adjust the neck's truss rod in the blink of an eye. The guitar is equipped with two EMG 81 and EMG 85 humbucking pickups. They produce a muscular sound, while remaining very clean. The result is formidable power and improved sound definition, crucial when playing modern metal. You'll also be able to tame them with the help of a three-position sliding pickup selector switch, a volume control and a tone control. The SL2MG HT is perfectly tuned thanks to its fixed Hipshot bridge and Gotoh MG-T tuning machines. Finally, you'll be able to carry your guitar with confidence thanks to Dunlop's double strap lock system. Naturally, this American Soloist SL2MG HT features our signature metal styling. It's available in Satin Black and Matte Army Drab finishes, with a matching pointed Jackson neck headstock and black hardware.
