Basswood is a species of choice used by many manufacturers for its lightness and acoustic qualities. Basswood bodies produce thick tones with a well-balanced frequency balance, remarkable dynamics and definition.

The Laurier fingerboard is a high-quality alternative to Rosewood. With its superior density and stability, its acoustic performance is comparable to that of Brazilian Rosewood.
