The "Legends Of Fuzz" range is a tribute to the historic fuzz circuits that, from the London scene of the '60s to the Big Muff resurgence of the '80s, contributed to the rise of Pop and Rock music.
In the mid-1960s, the American company Jordan Electronics began production of transistor amplifiers for electric guitar, and above all developed the Boss Tone, the first plug-in effects processor (which connects directly to the instrument's jack output), which was successfully marketed from 1967 (presented at the 1966 NAMM Show). Fuzz was a new frontier for guitarists at the time, and Boss Tone had no equivalent.
The JHS PEDALS Legends Of Fuzz Plugin is an evolution of this reference effect, offered in a compact pedal version.
