The compact JHS PEDALS Moonshine v2 Overdrive pedal is the JHS Pedals version of the famous Ibanez Tube Screamer saturator, in a highly versatile evolution.
The Clean setting lets you mix the original signal at will. The Proof selector ranges from low-gain amp-style saturation with a powerful, colorful boost, to crushing, powerful overdrive bordering on distortion. In the low position, you'll have the highest gains, lots of saturation and sustain, and the most midrange available. In the high position, you'll get the crunchiest sounds, but also more overall volume and more dynamics. An internal circuit allows the pedal to operate on 18v, although powered by a 9v adapter. The result is greater amplitude, exacerbated low frequencies and more punch.
