Based on the circuitry of the original KHDK, the No.1 has an extended range of action thanks to two modes accessible via the Hi/Lo mini-switch. The Lo option produces warm, subtly crunchy moderate overdrives more suited to rhythmic playing; the Hi option offers a higher saturation rate, more sustain, exacerbated low frequencies, fiery harmonics and compression. Ideal for meaty rhythms or solos.
