Lag Tramontane T70D - noir & brun

Inspired by the multi-award-winning Lag Tramontane T80, the LAG Tramontane T70D (Black & Brown) is a Dreadnought acoustic folk guitar featuring a solid Engelmann Spruce top, a laminated Sapele back/side/neck trio and a Brownwood fingerboard. With great playing comfort, meticulous finishing and an attractive price, the Lag T70D is an exceptional folk for the beginner or even more experienced guitarist.Englemann spruce is a superior variety. Less dense and paler than Sitka or Adirondack, it generates a noticeably more present mid-range, a softer attack and remarkable clarity, helping to give the guitar a more vintage sound. Brownwood is an ideal substitute for Rosewood, derived from short-cycle pines from New Zealand. The wood is first dried to bring its moisture content down to 10%, then impregnated with catalysts and pigments in pressurized vats, followed by a second drying phase to bring its moisture content down to 2 or 3%, before a second pressurized impregnation, this time with resin.
The 3rd phase consists in compressing the material to lose up to 40% of its mass and densify it.
Last phase: fine sanding for perfect appearance and contact.
