Lag Tramontane T88A - natural satin

The LAG Tramontane T88A is an Auditorium-style steel-string acoustic guitar with solid Engelmann spruce top and laminated Khaya back and sides. Khaya is a noble African mahogany with a wide frequency response, and the Brownwood used for the fingerboard is an ideal substitute for rosewood, derived from short-cycle New Zealand pines. The wood is first dried to bring its moisture content down to 10%, then impregnated with catalysts and pigments in pressure tanks. A second drying phase brings its moisture content down to 2 or 3%, before a second pressure impregnation, this time with resin.
The 3rd phase consists in compressing the material to lose up to 40% of its mass and densify it.
Last phase: fine sanding for perfect appearance and contact.
