Line 6 HX One

Today, Line 6 presents the HX One, a powerful stereo effects pedal with intuitive controls that's easy to install on any pedalboard. The HX One joins the HX family of processors (HX Stomp and HX Stomp XL) and the HX Effects processor, "The aim with the HX One was to offer the effects of the Helix in an ultra-compact, easy-to-use pedal," explains Andy Paredes, Product Marketing Manager at Line 6. "It's ideal for musicians looking for a simple pedal that takes up very little space on their board, but with which they can choose to have a delay, chorus, overdrive, or any other effect, at any time. The HX One lets you select an effect from among the more than 250 available (all from the famous HX family of processors) and easily adjust its parameters displayed on the OLED screen using the three associated potentiometers. Users can also automate parameter changes via the original Flux controller, and trigger them with the Tap/Flux footswitch. An expression pedal or two optional external footswitches can also be connected for added control. Finally, the pedal features input impedance adjustment to suit different instruments; a choice of full bypass or buffered DSP; MIDI input and output/thru, 128 presets and a USB-C port for updating firmware and linking to the free HX One Librarian app. The HX One can be operated using the included 9 V power supply; it is also compatible with most third-party power supplies, making it easy to install on the vast majority of pedalboards.
