Overdrive, distortion & fuzz effect pedal
Hand-crafted in the UK, the compact MAGNETIC EFFECTS Zig Zag Dual Stage Overdrive pedal first passes your guitar signal through a Jfet pre-amp, giving the sound a characteristic tube amp attack, then sends it to a second gain stage, also adjustable via a dedicated potentiometer.
The two parameters Gain and Preamp are calibrated differently, so that different mixes offer variable responses in terms of gain, equalization and feel. The EQ controls, combined with the three-position mini switch, will enable you to adapt the pedal to any guitar/amp configuration, while its voltage doubling circuit exacerbates its amplitude and punch in a remarkable way.
