The five-string solid-body electric bass SIRE MARCUS MILLER Z7 Ash 5-String (MN, NT) is unquestionably one of the finest mainstream reinterpretations of the Music Man© Stingray© (body in Alder or Ash depending on color, bolt-on neck in Maple, fingerboard in Maple or Ebony depending on color, scale 34").
Designed by the great Marcus Miller himself, it is both extremely comfortable and extremely versatile, thanks to the combination of pickups with Alnico V magnets and active 18v or passive electronics (via mini-switch) that provide a huge catalog of vintage or more contemporary tones, yet expressive and generous in all circumstances.

De la commande à la réception, tout est OK !

Emballage parfait. Livreur au top, qui a pris le temps de déballer avec moi pour contrôler l'état (DPD).

La basse : très agréablement surpris ! C'est ma première 5 cordes et je trouve le manche très confortable.

Les finitions : rien à redire, aucun défaut.

La sonorité est parfaite pour moi, mais je n'ai pas encore tout exploré.

Un seul bémol : en mode actif, mon système sans fil (bas de gamme chinois) émet un buzz. À voir donc avec un autre matériel si le défaut vient de la basse ou de mon système.

Les réglages sont certainement à reprendre pour correspondre à ma façon de jouer. L'action est assez basse, trop pour moi... Mais peut-être faut-il aussi revoir ma façon de jouer !
