Electric guitar amp head
The MARSHALL JCM800 Modified Head (100 watts, all-tube circuit) pays tribute to one of the most iconic amps in rock history, the 2203 head originally marketed between 1981 and 1989. Manufactured in the UK's Bletchley factory, the JCM800 Modified faithfully reproduces the unstoppable, wild sound of the original model, intelligently complemented by three filters (dedicated switches) and a switchable effects loop for optimum flexibility.
The gain boost switch provides extra saturation when needed, the mid-boost switch exacerbates mid-range frequencies for greater depth and clarity, and the tight switch adds definition by attenuating low frequencies.
