The MARTIN & CO Custom Shop 000-18 is a 000 14-fret style steel-string acoustic guitar (24.9" short scale) made from solid premium-grade woods. Adirondack spruce top, Adirondack spruce "Golden Era" bracing, mahogany back/side combo and Ebony fingerboard.
This Custom Shop 000-18 is an exceptional acoustic, plolyvalent, perfectly balanced across the entire frequency spectrum, with outstanding responsiveness. The soundboard and bracing are in Adirondack spruce. Adirondack is one of the most prized varieties of spruce. Its clarity and projection are unquestionably superior to those of traditional Sitka spruce, with muffled midrange.
