The MARTIN & CO Custom Shop CS-000-C22056798 European/Indian #2707297 is a 000 14-Fret style steel-string acoustic guitar (scale 24.9"), with European spruce top, Indian rosewood back/ sides and Ebony fingerboard (all species are of course solid and selected with the greatest intransigence for their acoustic and aesthetic qualities).
European spruce has a distinctive character that connoisseurs will easily recognize. It combines the amplitude and power of Adirondack Spruce with the warmth of Cedar.

Indian Rosewood is definitely one of the most traditional and popular species. It has the fundamental imprint of Mahogany, with a strong midrange (albeit more subdued), but with a much wider range of frequencies towards the bottom and top of the spectrum.
