The MARTIN & CO Road Series D-13E electro-acoustic steel-string acoustic guitar is a high-quality Dreadnought reinterpretation of the brand's great standards, offered at a very reasonable price. Made from selected solid woods (Sitka Spruce top, Ziricote body), it generates full, dynamic, warm tones full of clarity. On the practical side, you can easily and efficiently pre-amplify it with the Fishman MX-T system with on-board tuner. Ziricote is a species whose acoustic characteristics combine those of Indian Rosewood and Macassar Ebony. The fingerboard is made of Richlite, an excellent substitute for Ebony. Used for decades in the aeronautical and maritime industries, it is a dense composite material made essentially from FSC-certified recycled paper, to which phenolic resin is added. The whole is heated to a high temperature.
