Folk guitar

Limited edition of 190 worldwide. With its all-solid-wood construction (Adirondack spruce top, mahogany back and sides, Ebony fingerboard), the MARTIN D-19 190th Anniversary steel-string acoustic guitar is a commemorative model celebrating the Martin family's move to the U.S. The top is made of Adirondack spruce, initially discarded for cosmetic reasons, to which a film imitating mahogany has been applied. It would have been a shame if such an acoustically high-performance species had been used simply for its looks. The "forward-shifted X scalloping" dams are no strangers to its remarkable responsiveness. Their design guarantees both robustness and optimal soundboard vibration.
The neck has a particularly user-friendly "Modified Low Oval w/ High-Performance Taper" profile. It's slimmer than traditional necks, and easy to get to grips with.
