With reworked bracing, a thinner fingerboard, redesigned neck profile and heel, these acoustics are even more faithful to a vintage Martin tonal spirit, augmented by improved ergonomics and even more refined aesthetics. The MARTIN Golden Era Standard 000-28 (Gloss 1935 Sunburst) is inspired by the historic and legendary 000 Martin models. From the traditional country bluegrass scene to iconic performances, these acoustics have accompanied the greatest artists. The Standard 000-28 combines this heritage with some more contemporary features.
Featuring a Sitka Spruce top, Indian Rosewood body and neck duo, Ebony fingerboard and Sitka Spruce GE bracing, the versatile 000-28 produces the full, balanced, even, warm, rich and dynamic tones we've come to expect from a Martin. For a more contemporary feel, the "GE Modified Low Oval" neck profile offers outstanding playing comfort.
