The MARTIN 16 Series J-16E 1935 Burst uses carefully selected woods that contribute to its exceptional tone:

Equipped with the Baggs Element VTC (Volume Tone Control) system, the MARTIN 16 Series J-16E features:

  • A under-nut piezo pickup for faithful reproduction of vibrations.
  • An active Class A preamp built into the jack.
  • Two knobs to adjust volume and tone.

This system delivers a balanced, dynamic, and natural sound, whether you’re strumming or picking, all powered by a 9V LR61 battery with a battery life of approximately 1,000 hours.
