The MARTIN GUITAR Junior Series D Jr E StreetLegend is an electro-acoustic steel-string acoustic guitar designed for beginners, smaller players and nomads looking for a less bulky instrument to travel with. Its 15/16" scale is approximately the same size as a Dreadnought.
Its all-solid-wood construction (spruce top, Sapele body), supported by a Richlite fingerboard and scalloped X-bracing, delivers the iconic Martin sound you'd expect: warmth with punchy mids, clear highs and good projection.
The Martin E1 preamp is both unobtrusive and full-featured, with volume, tone, phase and tuner. It is built to the brand's exacting standards. The fingerboard and bridge are made of Richlite, a high-quality composite material that has been used in the aeronautics and marine industries for many years, and which we consider a sure sign of credibility. Essentially composed of recycled paper and combined with phenolic resin, it is then heated to a very high temperature. The result of this skilful preparation is an alternative whose performance is totally comparable to that of Ebony.
