The MARTIN GUITAR OM-28 Modern Deluxe is an Orchestra Model (scale 25.4") steel-string acoustic guitar, combining traditional and contemporary features to perfection. It is built from solid, premium-quality woods (Sitka Spruce VTS* top, Indian Rosewood back and sides, Mahogany neck, Ebony fingerboard).
The Sitka Spruce top and Adirondack Spruce bracing have been subjected to the exclusive VTS (Vintage Tone System) torrefaction process, giving them the appearance and acoustic behavior of old woods. The slightly asymmetrical Vintage Deluxe / High-Performance Taper neck profile offers a familiar yet extremely comfortable grip.
Titanium trussrod, Liquidmetal pegs and a carbon-fiber composite bridge plate exacerbate the instrument's volume, while style and class are not lacking, with flamed European Maple purflings, gilded frets and tuning machines, and a pearl-encrusted 1930s-style logo.
