With reworked bracing, a thinner fingerboard, a redesigned neck profile and heel, these acoustics are even more faithful to a vintage Martin tonal spirit, augmented by improved ergonomics and an even more refined aesthetic. The MARTIN Golden Era Standard 000-17 is inspired by the legendary 18 models. From the traditional country bluegrass scene to iconic performances, Martin 18s have accompanied the greatest artists. The Standard 000-17 combines this heritage with some of today's most contemporary features.
Featuring a mahogany top / body / neck trio, Ebony fingerboard and Sitka Spruce GE bracing, the 000-17 produces the warm, rich and expressive tones we've come to expect from a Martin. For a more contemporary feel, the "GE Modified Low Oval" neck profile offers excellent playing comfort.
