Offered at an attractive price, the MICHAEL KELLY Triad 10E 10-String is an electro-acoustic steel-string acoustic guitar of the Dreadnought Square Shoulder type that stands out from the crowd. With its solid spruce top, three-piece laminated Okoume/Ovangkol/Okoume back, laminated Sapele sides, mahogany neck and Ovangkol fingerboard, it offers a very interesting alternative to a traditional twelve-string.
Only the four treble strings are doubled (D and G in the upper octave, B and E in unison). The Triad 10E's sound is remarkably balanced, dynamic, full and deep. The on-board Fishman Sonitone pre-amp lets you connect it to an amp or mixing console (volume and tone controls in the soundhole).
A user-friendly, playable and versatile instrument well worth the detour.
