MXR Limited Edition Jerry Cantrell Talk Box Firefly JC222FFR, sold with medical-grade tube and 18v power supply. MXR has upgraded the Talk Box to meet the demands of the contemporary guitarist.
Integrated amp and speaker, Volume, Tone and Gain controls. A dedicated parallel output lets you separate the direct guitar signal to your amp for use outside the Talk Box.
Simply connect the Talk Box between your guitar and amp. The guitar signal is amplified, with the speaker acting as a diaphragm to direct air into the tube. The expelled air vibrates at the frequency of the note played, and when you speak into the tube, your voice is modulated by the note played, as if sung by the guitar.
All that's left to do is place a vocal microphone next to the tube, so that the result can be sent to a PA system.
