Nux MG-30 Guitar & Bass Versatile Modeler

The NUX MG-30 Versatile Modeler is a programmable multi-effects pedalboard for guitar and bass (electric and acoustic), an enhanced version of the already outstanding NUX MG-300 Modeling Guitar Processor. Based on the acclaimed TSAC-HD (True Simulation for Analog Circuit) and Core-Image technologies for recreating and modeling the analog sounds and interactions of physical components with stunning realism, the MG-30 benefits from an even higher level of definition, from HD to 2K.

The MG-30 provides a wide variety of reference amp and pedal models: 30 amps (25 guitar, 3 bass, 2 acoustic), around 20 speaker cabinet impulse responses (for guitar and bass), 8 microphones (3 different positions), and around 50 pedals covering all functionalities (compression, saturation, modulation, filter, equalization, noise gate, delay and reverb).
A Bias control adjusts the depth of the power stage in tube amp simulations.
Impulse responses (IR) are managed directly on the footswitch, but you can also upload your own IRs.

The MG30 offers a fully modular signal chain, where you can determine the order of the various effect blocks according to your needs, with parallel routing management too.
An effects loop lets you link your external effects pedals, and even position them wherever you like in the signal processing organization. The switch assignment function on the MG-30 and the additional NMP-2 2-way footswitch lets you activate different effects blocks within a single preset.

The NUX MG-30 also boasts Jam functionality, with an exhaustive drum machine in musical registers, as well as a simple yet effective looper that can accept 60-second loops, and unlimited overdubs.

The free Nux Quick Tone™ software lets you manage your sound parameters in detail, download patches and third-party impulse responses, and configure USB audio stream routing.
Quick Tone™ is interactive (when you modify controls, you'll see the changes in real time). A true USB sound interface, the MG30 also lets you record, stream and even be able to re-amp your recordings. Compact, ergonomic and robust, the NUX MG-30 multi-effects is therefore both very powerful and easy to use. Its 4" color LCD display, onboard controls and additional NMP-2 2-way footswitch make for intuitive operation.
The on-board expression pedal can be assigned to various parameters, and a built-in tuner ensures you're always in tune fast. The free, dedicated Nux Quick Tone software will help you edit parameters with ease and precision, download patches, load IRs (impulse responses) or configure USB audio stream routing.
The edits are interactive: as you modify the knobs, you'll see your changes in real time.
