Made in Germany, the OKKO Diablo overdrive pedal is the unanimous choice of guitarists. As a result, it's the brand's absolute best. The Diablo is aimed at musicians looking for a low/mid gain tube amp-style saturation, with maximum depth and responsiveness. The Feed and Dyn parameters set the Diablo apart from its competitors, and are a real added value in terms of tone. Feed acts on the lower end of the spectrum, adding musical thickness, while Dyn (which replaces the previous selector) is designed to adjust the internal voltage from 6 to 18V for a mellow or fuller, punchier sound.
There's also a pair of mini switches to accentuate mid-range frequencies and compression (a bit like an amplifier pushed to its limits, which will naturally generate compression).
