Orange Vintage Distortion

At first glance, the new Orange Distortionpedal is similar to the old Orange Distortion. Apart from the LED and 9V DC input, this new pedal may appear to be a simple reboot of the 1970 version. But underneath its aluminum armor, it's a different story: the circuitry of this new Orange Distorsion has been completely redesigned, abandoning the original's back-to-back diode and replacing it with a tone stack amplification circuit, where bass and midrange are preset but treble is adjustable via a regulator accessible by opening the pedal. New design doesn't necessarily mean new sound. This pedal has all the bite and warmth of a '70s tube-style distortion pedal. With just two knobs, level and depth, the Orange Distortion pedal can take charge of your sound, whether you want a clean boost or a warm, rocky texture. Perfect balance for a Jimmy Page-style scratch sound or a more garage-rock tinge. Add to this a hand-connected switch, but above all, separate from the pcb, and you have a vintage pedal perfect for modernity.
