Introduced in the late '60s, Ovation acoustic guitars stand out from the crowd with their Lyrachord body and soundhole top. Lyrachord is a composite material derived from the aeronautics industry; omnidirectional silicone fiber combined with resins, the formulation of which required several years of research before arriving at an alternative to traditional woods, offering not only a light and robust structure, but also remarkable acoustic projection and sustain.
In the same spirit of innovation, Ovation has opted for the "Multi-Soundhole" soundhole concept, which delivers clear, detailed highs, as well as precise, well-adjusted bass frequencies. The soundboard is equipped with sculpted X-type bracing customized by Ovation to accentuate dynamics and power.
