Overdrive, distortion & fuzz effect pedal
Designed and produced in France, the PFX CIRCUITS Limited Edition Yarol Drive effect pedal is the signature model of French guitarist Yarol Poupaud. Available in a limited edition of 50, the Yarol Drive is a saturation pedal that's both traditional and flexible.
A regular with the brand, of which he already owns the MUZE and JULIUS (used on the FFF 2024 tour), for his signature pedal he wanted a combination of an off-road overdrive in the spirit of the MXR© Timmy©, and a second circuit with a more acid and fuzz grain in the Rat tradition.
The Overdrive channel (green LED) goes from simple boost to generous crunch, thanks to a circuit equipped with the same Nos diodes as the Julius, while the Dirt channel (red LED) features EQ calibrated to the responsiveness of an amp speaker. Its voicing is more modern than that of the Rat, offering a more precise sound and greater progressivity and latitude in gain control, covering a range from crunch through distortion to raging fuzz.
